Three persons who were in need of being rescued when they were stranded on the face of a steep cliff near Muir Beach California are grateful that a helicopter from the United States Coast Guard (USCG) on a Saturday evening.
It is likely that one of the three persons whose names and gender were not released contacted 911 to report the need to be rescued from their trouble spot with two of them being trapped on the cliff topside facing Muir Beach while the third person was on top of the cliff.
A helicopter from the USCG base in San Francisco came to the trouble area used a rope to rescue the trio by the use of one of the crew members and take them to safety.
The trio is in good health with no injuries reported. The good news is that the helicopter crew had good weather to execute the trio to safety.
What is a mystery to me is what where the trio doing in a cliff area in the first place since they were lucky to be rescued by the USCG.
I am sure that the helicopter crew are happy to do their duty to saves lives in the Bay Area.

I'm glad they were rescued. Maybe they will be more careful next time.

I agree with you. I hope that the trio think twice before going to a cliff area.

Good to know that they were rescued but question remains what these three were doing in a cliff area

I was thinking the same thing why the trio was doing near a cliff area.

I am sure that the trio will learn a lesson not to take silly risks again.

I agree with you since it is better to be rescued by the authorities than losing their lives since it would break the hearts of the families of the deceased.
