I have another awesome breakfast idea for you all. I ate it this morning and it was amazing.
You know that, just like my close friend Coral ( @TheSojourner ) I find it fun to eat delicious food that fall under the title "frugal cooking".
This morning, I woke up late (still watching The Good Doctor, season 4 at night) and went to the kitchen to see what I had.
The friends that came for tea maybe 2 weeks or more ago brought me brown bread as it is the one the Leonardo eats. And I eat 2 slices a day so it lasts a lot.
I toasted 2 slices and found the last big mushroom in the refrigerator. I sliced it and fried it in butter (low temperature). I also found some blue cheese. So, after the bread was toasted i added a bit of butter and some blue cheese and placed it in the microwave oven for the shortest possible time.
I got out the bread with the melted cheese, poured over the mushroom, covered it and ate it with my first cup of coffee.
DELICIOUS!!!
The day that Carolina came for lunch, there was some pasta left after we ate. She cleaned the dinner table and asked me if she was to throw away the leftover pasta. The words left me in shock. That is a whole meal, if prepared in a good way, I said.
Today´s deli sandwich had ONE mushroom. If yours are smaller, you can use 2. The blue cheese was a small amount. I like to have it because I can even make salad dressings with a bit of it.
Try it. There is a science in using leftovers. And it is a lot of fun.

I love mushrooms and melted cheese...but not bleu cheese. I like milder cheeses. Congratulations on a successful meal.
