How do you deal with chronic pain?

I have two chronic Heath conditions that cause ma significant pain most days. Sometimes I have better days where I can do a lot of stuff, but then usually the next day my body says why did you do that??? However, I can have bad pain days even when I do not exert myself so there you go. It has been this way for more than 8 years. Thank goodness for knitting and reality TV!

I use different forms of cannabis to regulate my pain. I use oils, edibles and flowers. I've tried every kind of analgesic made, narcotic and non-narcotic. The side effects were sometimes worse than the pain. Sorry you have trouble, I've been able to keep my pain in check this way.

@1creekgirl It doesn't take the pain away like percocets but I find it very helpful. Part of it may be that because I tried everything else and hated living until the next dose, this is the best I can hope for

Thank you for the suggestion. Perhaps that movie is on YouTube. I will try to find it.

The pain I have has not changed my life much. When it is worse, I take pills.

Yeah. I have prescription medication, which I take on a regular basis. I think it keeps the super bad pain at bay.

I have my good days and my bad days. I take full advantage of the good, then cringe at the bad. Pain killers and hot baths become my best friends.

Fortunately, I don't have chronic pain. When I had severe pain I took medication.

I am so glad you do not have chronic pain. I would not wish this on ANYONE (except for maybe Hitler):
