It’s another hot and smoky day, the local fire is getting more and more contained but sadly several families have lost their families.
The Calder Fire moved close to the beautiful quaint town of Strawberry, as a child I spent happy times there at a family friends Cabin.
Thankfully they have been able to protect lives and structures.
The Caldor Fire is racing closer to the Tahoe Basin. The evacuation zone remains steady as fire crews rush to protect the community of Strawberry.

Hope all stay safe. And the fire is in control. Wildlife fires are making news in so many places across the world.
