She likes to go for evening walks these days...

Angel didn't want to go for a walk when I asked her until around 6:30 or 7 pm. It was cooler, and I don't blame her for not wanting to go out in the heat (if that was her problem).
So, we went for walk, said hello to some people and some dogs, and then came home.
There's a lot of smoke in the air from the fires in California, which I'm not particularly close to. The sun looked red when we were out there.

Angel is smart and she chose the right time to go for a walk. Walking in the heat is not enjoyable.
Sorry about the smoke and fire. I saw in the news that the California fire is getting smaller and in control. I think that is a positive development.

A very good way for your pet to tell you when Angel knows it is safe for a walk. Dogs are very smart animals.
