This story that comes from Bolivia North Carolina is very interesting since the kinds of lost items that can be found in thrift stores can lead to a happy reunion to the relatives of the persons who reunited with a lost item that belongs to them. Irene Cornish who is the great granddaughter of a New Jersey couple named William Deworth and Katey Havey who were married in 1872 was overcome with joy when Host Chest Thrift Store assistant manager Pam Phelps saw a marriage certificate in the back of the painting. The painting was donated by someone at the thrift store that assist Brunswick County's domestic violence programs last month. The manager of the thrift store Karmen Smith about finding the marriage certificate in the back of the painting. Karmen sent the story of the marriage certificate to Facebook. Karmen then found out that Irene is related to the couple via Ancestry.com. Karmen then contacted Irene who lives in Bolivia North Carolina most likely either by telephone or social media to inform her the good news. Irene believes that her late relatives placed the certificate in the back of the painting to keep it safe. After the couple passed away, a relative who did not know about the certificate in the back of the painting, a relative sold or donated the painting to another thrift store by accident. I have heard of wedding and class rings being reunited with their owners. This is the first time I have heard of marriage certificate being reunited with the grandchildren of a married couple,
