We should always keep a standard for us in life for not to stoop low!!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. I believe that we all should try to keep a standard of ourselves so that if someone does bad to us we are able to forget and move on in life. Personally speaking, I don't believe in taking revenge. If someone does hurt me or behaves badly with me. I distant myself, thinking I can't stoop so low and that God will take care of it. I don't think one gets peace completely if engage in act of revenge. One feels happy sure but there is always a feeling of bitterness attached to it. It doesn't let you forget about it.
