Day 81 2 Samuel 15:31 And one told David, saying, “Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom.” And David said, “O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.” Have you ever prayed for the downfall of another person? You know the person isn’t good and everything they do is bad for them and the people around them. David fled from Absalom, his son when he heard Absalom proclaimed himself king. He prayed for God to turn the counsel of one of the conspirators with Absalom to foolishness. As Christians, you have the power of the Holy Spirit to guide you with all wisdom. When you see something that isn’t right, you pray for God to turn the situation around so people will see the foolishness of what they do to themselves and the people surrounding them. Let God have His way with the hearts and minds of the people. Don’t let Satan sway you with sweet-sounding words. Always seek God’s will in every situation. Let’s pray: Father, let Your Holy Spirit guide me in all truth with wisdom and understanding so I will know when something isn’t right. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
