Today schools started in USA

Schools here opened at the beginning of August.

Kids opened school here way earlier and am happy some kids do comply to covid rules my kids are also careful they put on their masks at all times . Enjoy the new term in school

Masks are optional in our schools. And, students started back last week in St. Johns and Volusia counties. I suspect the rest of the state was within a day or two.

My kids did hybrid last year so they had in person when the numbers where low and they only went like at first 2 days a week then they up it to 4 days a well now this they have been in school for roughly 5 days doing 5 days a week in person. They are doing great they didn’t get sick last year with covid but did get colds which is normal. I’m not worried about the kids our county had asked all teacher that are doing in person to get vaccinated which helped lower how many people would get covid in a school setting or less the time line of them having COVID. There school has mask in the school for all students and staff and any visitors. Things are cleaned multiple times a day. Kids help with that but wiping down anything they touch before and after if they are sharing if it’s there and only there they don’t have to wipe down but they do there work space.

The school bells will be ringing here across Ontario next Tuesday as the students, faculty and staff return to the classrooms. Masks will be mandatory. I hope that your kids all get along alright, its not like any other start to the year is it?

It's very challenging for anyone especially kids to put mask for so long. But then it's a safety measure and can not be compromised.

I'm a retired teacher. I'm glad that I don't have to teach any more in the present situation what with masks and keeping distance etc.
