Today is International Day of Charity!!!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good and relaxing today. I am doing good too. Today is celebrated as "International Day of Charity". The United Nations General Assembly has declared in 2012 that 5th September will be celebrated as International Day of Charity. The main purpose is to raise awareness among individuals, organisation and in world at large for the importance of doing charity in life. I believe it's a noble thing to do and one should do it from time to time as per ones capacity. I stay in Surat city of Gujarat, India where people do lot of charity. There is an organisation who provides free food every Thursday to beggers in the city. There are many diamond and textile traders who allocates certain funds for charity to be done throughout the year at different places. Share your thoughts about it. Have a good day.
