Happy Teacher's Day to Everyone!!!

Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good and spending time with your family. I am doing good too. Today 5th September is celebrated as "Teachers day".
It was celebrated as the birth date of India's first vice president Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was a respected philosopher and teacher.
The significance is to appreciate and praise the teachers on this day. Every year different activities were conducted in schools across India.
I remember during our time, some students use to dress up as teachers and make others learn different subjects. I have very fond memories of it. I use to give roses to my teachers on that day and use to touch their feet for blessings.
Due to pandemic since last year, schools are closed. I am sure the students would be missing their friends and teachers too.

Thanks for this information , now I know that in India September is the Month of teachers, because here in the Philippines is October..

I still remember my teachers . It is a long time now, and some of them have even passed away.
The Teachers day event was not much of a grand day in our school. We only used to wish them and some used to hand over roses to them.
