September 5 - What I'm Thankful for Today

This is the day the LORD has made, and I WILL REJOICE and be GLAD in it. Yes, I'm thankful today is Sunday. I'm thankful for all the hugs I got at church this morning. I'm also thankful for the wonderful message my pastor gave this morning. I'm thankful for the drive home. For patience as I faced both a train and a boat. It always fascinates me how many people aren't patient when it comes to waiting. We live in a fast-paced society and want things to happen right now. When they don't, we try to find ways around the obstacle. I chose to wait because it was the fastest way home. I'm thankful I found the letters I received from my Housing Specialist showing she approved my move. I scanned them into the computer and sent her an e-mail message attaching the letters which she will receive on Tuesday when she gets back to the office. I'm thankful for the Labor Day holiday. I don't need to go to bed early, or I would already be in bed. I'm thankful there are only three days before I get the keys. Well, this day is technically over, so that makes two days and twelve and a half hours. Okay, that's been my day. Nothing out of the ordinary for a Sunday, except the boat.
