I have to give credit to Andrea Bembeck who is the mom of Andrew Bembeck who is her eight year old son who live in Danville Pennsylvania for teaching her son to use money that he is making selling lemonade during the summer to assist persons in need. Andrew learned that the Friendship Fire Company is in need of raising money to buy a new ladder truck that will cost around $1.3 million dollars when he and his mother saw the local firefighters hold fundraisers outside of their headquarters when they would run errands. Andrea encouraged her son and his friends to have a lemonade stand outside of her home and use the profits from the lemonade sales to be given to the Friendship Fire Company so they can proceed to reach their goal of buying their new firetruck. Andrea assisted her son to get the materials ready to hold his lemonade stand sale for a weekend that raised around $200 dollars that was given to the fire chief of their town. The firefighters at the Friendship Fire Company were grateful that an eight year old boy, his mom and his friends assisted them in getting closer to getting their dream their new ladder truck since the summer of 2020.

I'm glad to see that an 8-year-old boy has a civic mind at a young age.
