This Tuesday morning feels so much like a Monday it isn't even funny. My husband had a three day weekend so I feel like I'm a day behind when I'm not. Saturday was an all day, hands on rookie school class. It was fun and tiring lol. We did four exercises and I rocked it. We had a rotation in my group lol. It was our friend Chris, then Robert and then me. Until it came to ladders then I went first. We stayed behind to help clean up. Go figure out of a 14 people class it was only me that stayed to help the trainers. I get it but still. Anyway if it wasn't for that, we would have missed the call. I got to take my second ride in Engine 59 and go to my first fire. It sucked when we found out that it was a controlled burn and we went back to the station. My dad and husband went fishing Sunday morning and then we went over Chris'. She had started her crafts and I wanted to help. She finished her Halloween sign and we started on making a memorial for the thirteen fallen marines. It's coming along and I'm proud of it so far. Sunday we hung out with her husband lol. We went on a field trip to see district two and see two lakes. It made my day and gave me the inspiration I need to hopefully finish my Christmas story. We'll find out soon. With that though, we pulled back into this drive way just to leave again. We got a call for a brush fire and it was an actual fire. I got to be on the hose and put some of it out. I was riding so high yesterday after that. I still kind of am lol. The first person I told was my best friend. She was happy and proud of me. Now I have to chill out to do all this work today lol. I need to get a load of laundry done to get that smell out of our clothes from yesterday. I need to get a few things out because I should, fingers crossed, have three sales today. There's also writing that needs to be done before I loose my inspiration and a little bit of reading to catch up on. I know things will slow down soon but I could really use that now lol. Things will get better, I know they will. I have a lot to do though so I better get to it. What's everyone else up to today? *picture from google
