Time to step in the way back machine for today’s song of the day to December of 1973, when this song was released sadly it was released posthumously, as the talented singer died on September.20.1973 in a plane crash. Of course his music is still loved and played, nearly half a century after his tragic death.

I remember hearing on the radio in Panama when the Southern Command Network (SCN) disc jockey in the morning mentioned that Jim Croce had passed away in an airplane crash. Since I was 12 years of age at that time, I did not know who he was except for his song "Bad Bad Leroy Brown."
