I fully believe in siestas! During fall, winter and spring months, I always go outside to my truck on my lunch break and nap for most of the hour. I feel like a million bucks afterward. But during the summer, it's too hot to sit out in my truck (my A/C doesn't work). And it's too noisy and crowded in our break room to nap there. So far this summer, I've been taking quick siestas when I get home from work at 4:30pm.

@kobesbuddy It must be a lingering after-effect, because I have been wiped out pretty much everyday since being sick. I hate being so tired all the time.

After being so sick, you need some extra sleep every single day!

Ah, but during those hotter summer months, you could at least close your eyes for fifteen to twenty minutes and meditate. There are many health benefits achieved through meditation.

For some reason I didn't sleep well last night. I had some caffeine at suppertime, which I shouldn't ever do.

That can do it to you, especially after the age of fifty.

It is wise to get a good night's sleep and daily rest to be more productive in everything we do. I hope you were able to accomplish your plans for the evening.
