Another Monday that I had a hard time dragging myself out of bed for. The weekend was awesome. Friday we all went to dinner and hit Lowes after to see the Halloween stuff. Not a whole lot happening at that one but I did get my Halloween tree. I came home and set it up. It now has a place next to my Ravens tree. Saturday I went over my friend Chris' house. My husband helped hers with a side job so I spent my day there. We had some running to do and when we got back we found that I was 65'd. A few of the people from station 65 pranked our truck while I was gone. It was funny until my husband thought I did it. We got the cornhole boxes almost done and my 9/11 memorial is started. We got her ducks in a better home and I got to play with them for a while. The chicken coop that friends handed down had a huge wasp nest in it so we had to take an unplanned break that lasted for a bit. For the most part we got a lot done even though not all of what we had planned. Sunday was awesome. It was football all day! We picked up veggies and made our own tray and just had fun watching the games. We still have a fire training to do and today I have to get back to work and rookie school. It'll be great though. Today is the Ravens game. For once it's televised here but I'll miss it because of rookie school. I have it recording though! I finished My Next Play by Carrie Ann Ryan. I should be getting the ARC review form soon on that. I also have started Part of Your Nightmare by Vera Strange. Yeah, it's a kids book but it's Disney so I had to get it. My fish are finally doing well. The Ick seems to be just about gone and all fish survived. Now I just need to clean them which may be next weekend seeing as rookie school is running most of my time this week. I will also get an email today about my story and the contest that it was in. Then there's also the phone call I should get about my window. I'm all excited. I'm thinking today will be a great day! What is everyone else up to? *picture from google
