Morning everyone! Today is going to be a good day...if I keep saying it, it might happen. Last night was rookie school. More power points. I would rather have hands on but this is what we have to do right now. We'll do hands on with hoses and charged lines on Saturday. I got to watch the end of my game last night too. We made it home in time for the fourth quarter and the overtime. We lost but I still love my team. I have rookie school tonight and it should be some what interesting. I get a break tomorrow and back at it on Thursday. Today I also need to get computer work done. I got over half of it done yesterday so maybe I'll do better today. I didn't make it in the writing contest. I'm not sure which is worse, just not being contacted or getting rejection letter. This contest just didn't contact you. I looked up the email again to see if I mixed up the date when an email didn't come in by 7 last night. I should have heard on the 7th if I made it and I just didn't. On better news, it's getting closer to October and that means I'll be starting my Halloween movies and reading my favorite books and finding new spooky books. I look forward to this. I only read themed books in October and December. There's also a lot of cleaning that will be happening today and probably for the rest of the year. I'm going to start getting anal with the holidays approaching and I have my best friend visiting soon. I miss her so much and I can't wait. I know they won't be here long because she's on her Honeymoon but I'm so glad she made time to stop by. They bought their first home together, three doors down from my mother in law. We'll be living closer to each other than ever. We figured it out that when they were living with his dad and we stayed with my mother in law, we were about the same distance apart as we were when we were kids. There is more good news then bad but the bad just shook me. It still has me unsure of what I want to do. I'll figure it out though. I have some reading to catch up on and hopefully things will settle down soon. I only have to finish rookie school and then live burn. Then other training comes spread out.
