Work From Home Progress Report

I have been struggling to work from home since 2007. And I do mean it was a struggle. I tried affiliate marketing first. The concept was easy enough. Share the links of the merchant's products. If somebody clicks on your links and buys the product, you earn a commission. It's easy to share. But you got no control over if people will click. My first attempt at making money online was slow going. But I persevered. And I mean persevered. I got banned from sites. Got my accounts deleted. Got reported as a spammer. Got my blogs deleted. Joined sites that promised income but they shut down. Some paid me. Some did not. Some of the sites are still there, but they just won't pay me. It took a lot of work but I finally got some of my websites and blogs approved for monetization by displaying ads and of course, you know what happened. They came up with Ad Blockers!! It was rough! But hey! Live and learn. Right? So! From 2007 to 2021. I finally have found some communities and platforms where they promised I could earn for my activty and they have actually been paying me. CONSISTENTLY! I also learned about cryptocurrency, a form of currency that can be used just like regular money. I'm on a roll these days. MyLot is still one of my earning sites. But there are 8 other sites where I have been earning regularly. I still share affiliate links and earn some commissions from that activity as well. Even though people use Ad Blockers, the blockers don't block text links. So as a work around, I embed the advertising links in my content. Life is good. Regards my online work efforts, I live by the 3 Ps. Persistence and Patience PAYS.

I was considering affiliate marketing some years ago. Instead I chose a more cut and dry approach to online earning. I'm not making a living by any means but I don't have the headaches and frustrations either. Sometimes there may be a few bumps along the way but it's no big deal. As far as patience and persistence is concerned, I mainly do that in my offline activity.

Sometimes that's what you have to do. I mean I earn pretty good myself. Or, I would like to think so.
