A National Guardsman rescue a dog that survived Hurricane Ida

This story is so wonderful that I have learned to admire the hard work that members of the Louisiana Air National Guard Task Force Plaquemine's Parish Task Force that was led Lieutenant Colonel Cody "Viking" Clark and assisted by Captain Ryan Mitchell who were on a rescue and mission in Lower Plaquemine Parish after Hurricane Ida had passed over the region. The two guardsman located a male German Shepherd in the region who survived the effects of the hurricane. Lt. Col Clark told the German Shepherd to a veterinarian to have the dog checked out to see if he was healthy. After the German Shepherd passed his medical exam, Lt. Colonel Clark adopted the German Shepherd and named him "Caesar" call sign of the SARS Tasks Forces that the officer led. Despite the tragic loss of life and property due to Hurricane Ida, the rescue of a dog by the Louisiana National Guardsman is one nice event that Lt. Col. Clark will cherish for many years to come since dogs are indeed man's best friend.
