NyQuil was more expesnive than beer?

We went to Walmart on the way home this evening to get some groceries for the week, and some other essentials.
One of the things we had to get was the Nyquil/DayQuil combo bottle set. We got the honey flavoered kind, because the vapor cool is like inhaling a super menthol liquid cigarette, and no thanks.
Anyway the two pack of bottles was $19, and the 12 pack of Twisted Teas was $17. WHAT the heck!? When did Flu medicine become more expensive than beer?

@RebeccasFarm I also think its hilarious that pain meds are cheaper than life saving antibiotics

Its rediculous. Lol. I think medicine should be covered as part of goverenment food stamps. but thats just me. at least theres no tax on it.

Not a valid reason. People aren't getting high off nyquil. There's nothing in it to get high off

Yup---I bought some in prep forCovid and was amazed at how expensive it was--
