Sweet and Sour Fish and Wanton Noodles for a cold rainy day.

After a couple of days of temperature searing high, the rain suddenly fell today, the heavens rambling, and my canines cowering.
My daughter has a lot of stuff on her plate that she opted for food delivery again. I think we are becoming dependent on this kind of instant meals.
Anyway, tired of chicken, I selected a delectable sweet and sour fish for my lunch. It's not too filling on the stomach and easily digestible.
My daughter chose Wanton noodles but it was too much for her. That means, I ate half of her food, too. Sigh.

Yes, noodles is a default comfort food. Very effective when it's cold. Drives the shivering away.

My late mother once perfected the sweet and sour taste and she used to cook the dish for us.
I love escabeche also.

I prefer simple home cooking also like sauteed or steamed vegetables. But my daughter has no time yet for marketing. Loads of work.
