A front runner for the office president of the United States in 1988, Gary Hart wound up dropping out of the race after an affair with Donna rice became known. His wife said if this doesn't bother me, this shouldn't bother anyone else! If a candidate gets caught in an affair, do you think he or she should drop out of the race?!

Doesn't do too much for his public image. Sure hope they stop the affair once they get in office

I think it's his personal life so long as s/he delivers accordingly,I see no problem

Yes, as long as it's not obvious, no one will like a man in office if his mistress is obvious . It could be a sign of his character

No. Most politions are known for their schandles. Afairs are among the most common. What they do in-between the sheets, has nothing to do with their ability to hold office. Unless those bleed into the person's everyday life and affecting their judgment.

Yes, this is a good point. If they flaunt their affairs this shows their character
