Boy, do I suck at titles lol. But at least it’s to the point - this post is about my work. I’m working on Textbroker today. I got a later start than I had intended, but I’ll work until I feel it’s time to hit the hay. I just finished a few orders for one writing team, so I’m ready to switch over to another team. The team I’m about to switch to is full of 90-word restaurant descriptions, which can add up when you do a lot of them. The only issue is it takes this client a few days to accept the orders, so they won’t be accepted by tonight’s cash-out. But they might be ready for Sunday’s cash-out (if not, then next Wednesday for sure). The team I just finished working with for the night doesn’t make me wait long on weekdays, so there’s a chance those orders will be a part of tonight’s cash-out. I have until 2:59am (my time) for anything to be accepted for this pay period, otherwise, it rolls over to the next payout. Tomorrow, I’m planning to work on a 1,200-word order for a client who has been absolutely understanding of my situation and why I wasn’t around for almost a month. It’s not due until Sept. 29th, but I’d like to get it to her before then. I worked on her 700-word order the other day, so once I’m finished with this one, I can submit the entire project. And that’s where I’m at with my freelance writing. I’m glad to be back to work. I mean, I need the money (esp. with upcoming events), but it also keeps my mind occupied. You can only spend the day sleeping and watching movies for so long. Plus, writing is a part of who I am, and I don’t want to completely lose myself in grief, if that makes sense. I’m still taking it one day at a time though. Photo Credit: Pixabay.

Thanks! I always make sure to meet my deadlines, even if a client tells me they're not worried about it. Meeting my deadlines is very important to me.

It's completely alright and understandable. Sometimes you need that focus. And, there's nothing wrong with that. Grief doesn't have a timetable. You'll be okay, in your own time.

Exactly! Thank you so much. And you're right, grief doesn't have a timetable. She's my Momma, I'm gonna miss her and Daddy for the rest of my life.

Thank you! I hope you find more writing assignments soon. Things have slowed down on Textbroker, so if you're on there, try to join some writing teams. That's where the bulk of my work has been coming from on there.
