My doctor is all up on the latest technology.! I had gone to him because I was seriously gaining weight, but not eating extra food. So he ordered blood tests and I went to do them. Unfortunately, he gave me the results via What'sApp when I was at a wedding. I have Fatty Liver. so since I was at the wedding way too early. (it was called for 7:30pm, and we were there at 7:30pm) nobody else had shown up except for the photographer and the bride's family. I looked up on my phone for information about Fatty Liver, and I found out that all of the foods on the menu are not on the diet. You see there aren't really any medicines that you can take to cure this. It has to be diet based. So I left the wedding to do more serious research on the computer. Diet for Fatty Liver 1. Very little amount of meat 2. Green leafy vegetables 3. No fizzy drinks 4. Whole wheat products - no white bread, rice or noodles 5. No candy or sugar - maybe a bit of honey 6. Salmon is great 7. 1 cup of coffee a day in the morning, no sugar but artifical sugar maybe ok. 8. Green Tea 9. 8 cups of water a day. 10. Plant protien, chickpeas, peas, carrots, avocado, broccoli, beets One very important issue with this syndrome, that most people don't find out about it until it is too late. There is no pain from the liver in the early stages. So if you are gaining weight for no reason, go get a blood test!!! I'm glad that I did. So when I go to the market I keep all this in mind. I had a second blood test about a month later, and it checked out as normal!! My doctor told me to stay on the diet.

I will ask for a third blood test in about a month. I hope that the results continue to show normal levels. Food is important as it is the fuel for our bodies.

I just remembered new things, so I added them to the list. Go back and check it if you need to work on getting your liver healthy.

It is best to get used to a healthy diet even now, while you are still healthy so that you won't develop problems. I am lucky that I found out about it so from now I look at a "food" and say to myself, no, that gum drop is not on my diet, and I shouldn't eat it.

Food items in a wedding dinner menu in our state are all enemies of a fatty liver!

I have my personal experience that our diet, exercise and lifestyle can cure most of the diseases. Please stick to it. I am sure that you will see a lot of improvement in your next blood report.
