North East Florida Eagle Camera (NEFL)

Over the Spring I watched these wonderful parents ( Samson and Gabrielle) raise a chick from an egg until it fledged on YouTube. The mom actually laid two eggs but only one hatched. They constantly brought food back to the nest and patiently fed the eaglet until it could feed itself, which seemed like a long time. The only food brought to the nest were large fishes, and they always kept a half eaten fish nearby. I can only imagine the smell of this place. I recently brought up the site again and was surprised to see the cameras moving around to watch the parents, who are still there sans their child who is long gone (my assumption). They must roost in this tree all year. This is home. They are beautiful birds and I've never seen one in person but would dearly love to. Pixabay: https://pixabay.com/photos/eagle-bird-animal-416795/
North East Florida Eagle Cam (NEFL) is home to Samson and Gabrielle. The American Eagle Foundation streams this eagle cam to millions every year. If you want...

Reminds me of a book my children had which was a true story of two eagles and their baby in NYC. The story was called Pal Mal.

That sounds so nice to have them so near you. I don't get anything like that here in south east Florida. Maybe I just haven't noticed.

It sure is @GreatMartin. We spend so much time and money trying to find things to amuse us and if we look around when we are outside we are sure to find some interesting things not to far from us.
