Recently, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali completed 25 years in movie entertainment, and while we all celebrate his movies, there is one movie Guzaarish that still remains his most underrated movie. I feel Guzaarish was most his most honest and pure movie by far and remains closed to heart for many people. A movie that is painful and beautiful at the same time. One of the most memorable performances from Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. Source: Youtube Credits: T Series Music

I watched this movie. I did not know it was underrated. Me the Silly American. I thought it was awesome! The fact is, I like most of the movies with Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. I think they are a fantastic onscreen couple. They have good chemistry together.

Yes, they look amazing as an onscreen couple and compliment each other so well. Jodha Akbar was also a magnificent movie starring both as leads. Coming to the Guzaarish movie, it was a disaster commercially, not sure why maybe because people till then expected Hrithik to perform dance/action in all his movies. Or maybe people were not just accepting that kind of story as it could be least entertaining.

Seems we are on the same wavelength with respect to the kind of cinema we like to experience. Of course, entertainment is the key, but something should be there to take away from that movie, maybe something emotional, something that touches our hearts, or some thought that stays with us for a long time, or probably a performance that cannot be forgotten.

When the movie was released, it was a big flop, people were not ready for this type of movie back then. Now it is considered one of the finest movies of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

To perform a character of a quadriplegic, the actor can mainly use facial expressions as an acting tool and Hrithik did it brilliantly emoting various feelings of pain, joy, vulnerability through his eyes, smile, and face expressions.
