Would it be possible for man to transport his physical body?

Today, we can send messages on phone which can reach from India to US within a second. 100 years ago, people would not believe this to be possible. In future, would it be possible for man to transport his physical body and reach a distant place within a second with the help of some technology? It seems a fantasy now, but who knows what will be possible in future ?
