It's Monday once again and I guess it's not too bad. I'm still not at 100% but I'm getting there. I miss my friend a lot. Over the weekend we had Low Angle Ropes Rescue training. It was one I actually got to sign up for, not mandatory. It was actually really fun though. I was worried about being put on the spot with knot tying but I succeeded. I got through the hands on stuff just fine. In fact I had fun doing it when I thought I wouldn't. Turns out I'm doing a lot of things I didn't think I could do. I got to watch a game and a half yesterday because of training. We didn't get home until the afternoon because we had to run a few errands after training. Long days but worth it. Saturday we celebrated a few things with some friends at a bon fire. It was just a celebration night for us and it was nice. Full of laughs and for us just a chill night. We all made smores once the kids found all the boxes. It was a mini treasure hunt for them to keep them occupied for a bit. Today I have to catch up on laundry. It's such a pain but I wasn't home over the weekend to do it so there ya have it lol. I also have to get the yard sales tuff sorted. I have a few sales that are picking up today and then we are having an actual yard sale on Saturday. Liberty is having their community sale again so I'm setting up with a friend. Fingers crossed we do as well as we did last time. The difference is it's going to be colder but the benefit is we're not going to set up in the garage like last time. We're pulling it all out in the yard and we have more signs. So this time with a little luck, we'll be seen more. Without rookie school anymore I should be able to catch up on everything I've fallen behind on like reading and writing. Fingers crossed anyway lol. What is everyone else up to? *picture from google
