German Shepherd saves the life of her owner who fell ill

Lother Weimann lives in Gainesville Florida is grateful that one of his two dogs Ellie and Willy are not only his best friends for life, he is grateful that on May 27, Lother who is 68 years of age was by himself since his wife was out of town fell down from what was a stroke in his backyard. Ellie who is seven years of age went to seek help from Lother's next door neighbor Dan Burton, 51, by opening a few gate latches as she barked to get his attention. When Dan saw what happened to his next door neighbor who fell down due to a stroke, called 911 to ask for help. Lother did manage to recover from his health scare four months later after he was released from the hospital, Lother has been doing more exercise and losing weight since he has diabetes and heart problems. Thanks to Ellie the German Shephed, Lother is alive and well today since dogs are indeed the best friend of man and woman.
