Spirited Away: 20 Years Later

It wasn't until I saw an ad celebrating the 20th anniversary of the movie, that I realized that it has been two decades since Spirited Away was released. Actually, July was the official 20th anniversary of this brilliant animated movie.
It has been a while since I last watched the movie. The last time was a few years ago when I insisted upon introducing my husband to it. Unfortunately, it did not spark in him a deep passion for animation-- a pity since the movie is considered one of the greats (and I certainly agree).
Have you seen the movie? If so, where does it rank in terms of your favorite animated (or even non-animated) films?

If you like animation, you should check it out. The art alone makes it worth a watch.

@just4him No, not currently. I don't think there is an agreement between Studio Ghibli and Netflix, since it doesn't seem like the studio's movies are available there.
One really beautiful (and beautifully told) animation that Netflix does have is The Garden of Words. I think that it is one that even people who aren't fans of anime are likely to enjoy.

It is really worth watching. The story is good, and the animation is fantastic. It is a good choice for when you need an uplifting movie.

It really is one of the great animated modern classics. If you get a chance, you should check it out.
