Neighbors rescue an elderly woman from her burning home

A 97 year old elderly woman whose name was not mentioned is grateful that a neighbor and a stranger entered a home in Nashua New Hampshire that was on fire to rescue her from dying inside of her home on Friday. The neighbor and the stranger were able to get the elderly woman out of the home that was on fire while she was sitting on her chair since she was not able to walk out of the home under her own power. This story does have kind of a bittersweet taste since one of the rescuers of the elderly woman whose name was not released suffered a heart attack after he and his helper were able to get the woman and her dog out of the burning home safe and sound. However the good news is that when the first responders arrived shortly after the Nashua firefighters arrived at the scene to give the male rescuer CPR and take him to a local hospital where he is making a recovery from his heart attack which may have been caused by the stress of saving the elderly woman. It is a case of neighbors watching out for each other in good times as well as bad times.
