Why are you still single?

I think there are many, many reasons I am still single. For starters, I haven't found THAT person that I think I can live with for the rest of my life. :) Honestly, I spent several years getting where I wanted in my professional life. I wanted to complete my education (a B.S. and M.S. degree) and solidify my position with my company. I have just now made it to a point where I feel like I have a stable career. I think it is unfortunate that some careers almost necessitate women to forsake starting a family in order to gain a solid and rewarding career.

as I suffer from clinical depression,I find it very hard to comunicate with girls,I can talk to them,but asking for a date or try getting close to single women just terrify me,I have always been a bit shy,but now most of the time,I do not want to even leave the house,but I believe,if the right girl comes along and actually starts it,or allows time,I would be fine.
