Day 116 2 Chronicles 6:28 If there be dearth in the land, if there be pestilence, if there be blasting, or mildew, locusts, or caterpillars; if their enemies besiege them in the cities of their land; whatsoever sore or whatsoever sickness there be: 29 Then what prayer or what supplication soever shall be made of any man, or of all thy people Israel, when everyone shall know his own sore and his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands in this house: 30 Then hear thou from heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and render unto every man according unto all his ways, whose heart thou know; (for thou only know the hearts of the children of men:) 31 That they may fear thee, to walk in thy ways, so long as they live in the land which thou gave unto our fathers. Many people experience conditions causing loss of crops, drought, sickness, disease, or people coming against them. When it happens on a continuing basis, you see people shouting the end of the world is near. In his dedication prayer, Solomon mentioned the problems they could see if they turned their back on God. He asked God to hear His people when they prayed, acknowledging their sin, and forgive them. Many Christians are quick to proclaim God’s judgment when they see those conditions mentioned by Solomon. What they don’t realize is it doesn’t mean the end of the world. It means they need to examine their life and relationship with Jesus Christ and return to Him when they find the fault for their problems is their own. What problems do you face? What is your relationship with Jesus Christ like? Are you committed and spend time with Him daily? Or has it been a while since God crossed your mind? Once you examine your life and find your commitment isn’t at fault or it is, then you need to pray for God’s forgiveness if the fault is yours, or pray for Satan to take his hands off your life because you are a child of the living God. God will hear the prayer of the repentant heart and forgive you. He will also hear the prayer of His faithful children and keep His promise of protection to you and go to battle against Satan on your behalf. God will fight on your behalf and restore your life. He will prosper you as you spend time with Him. Let’s pray: Father, You alone know my heart. You know if I have strayed from You or are faithful to You. Help me examine my life when problems arise and determine if the fault is mine. Forgive me and bring me back to You. Fight my enemies and keep me safely in You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Yes. I always give time in the morning to pray and talk to God. Thanking him for all the graces he always gives me and my family. I also pray for all the lost souls that are asking for forgiveness. Thank you for this wonderful message and prayer. God bless us all
