Festival begins from today in India

Today is Mahalaya. Goddess Durga's eye is first drawn today on the clay idols welcoming her to earth for her blessing. Today in most parts of India people take the blessings of their ancestors by performing pujas at home or at Puri Jagannath temple. May Devi Durga bless all of us. Of course we can't enjoy the same way because of the covid norms.

Yes, we call it the Navratri fast. I used to do it but I have stopped now as the doctor has asked me not to fast.

I can't have fun as I lost my husband recently and we keep a years mourning without celebrating any festivals.
