Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good and enjoying the weekend. I am doing good too. Today, 9th October is celebrated as "World Post Office Day". It's celebrated as the anniversary of Universal Postal Union which started in 1874 in Switzerland. It was the start of global communication revolution introducing the ability to write letter to others all over the world. It started in 1969 and since then every year it's celebrated across different countries. There are a lot of post offices in India. In the internet era, still the existence of post offices haven't diminished. There are many villages and districts wherein people still communicate by exchanging letters.
