How to avoid conflict and controversies?

Today the word seem to be sitting on volcano ready to erupt.Evan small countries are equipped with deadly arms and any indiscriminate use of such weapon leads to war and resulting in mass destruction. This is what happening in Afghanistan.
WHAT IS THE SOLUTION FOR THIS.

When a section of people in a country turn violent maniacs the best way to is to severe relationships with such a country. Getting no resources these people will stop their violent ways.

@ajeetchamania Mahatma Gandhi bowed down to the pressure of the British to get an Independent India which was not right. As Shubas Chandra Bose had predicted that this division would prove to be a menace for India and he was right.

What is your opinion about Gandhi way of Non Violence. Is he responsible for Division of Akhand Bharat.Just opposite of it was Sardar Patel.Which one was best.
