Every Christmas, Home Alone is aired on TV, So why the hell will they need to remake this movie. Hollywood is running out of ideas that they remake a movie that is not even that old. With all this laziness I wont be shock if Titanic and Inception will have a remake years from now.

Hollywood's not out of ideas, they're just going with whatever garners easy money. Studios don't wanna billions on a risky idea that might flop, so they go with reboots and remakes.

This crap is a Disney Plus original, so even disney knows no one will watch this on theaters.

@CaptAlbertWhisker And yet they think people will want to pay for this on Disney Plus... Which considering what I've heard about this reboot, I doubt that happened.

It's Disney, and Disney has a habit of jumping on the reboot bandwagon. almost every movie that was a classic (some not that old) have had a live-action makover in the past decade. Honestly, I wish I could say I'm surprised, but I can't.

and US Media is wondering why Squid Game is a hit. People are now moving to foreign content because things like this. Foreign content from Asia have lots of new ideas we never seen before. Also an early 2000s movie also got a remake, Netflix made a gender switch version of "She's all that" starring influencers.

I never cared for movie remakes--at least, not the ones where I've seen the original.

As long as there is an audience for it, they will continue to be made. I personally am not a big fan of movie remakes too.

I dont mind remakes of less popular things because usually they improve from the source material but when its popular, they mess it up
