Alcohol and drugs a curse on our society

Alcohol and drugs have never done good to anyone's health. The modern trend now of yougsters getting addicted to drugs and alcohol since school days is proving to be a challenge for the parents, society and the world. The youth are now falling sick the moment they reach their 40s and are unable to do mental or physical labour.
That NCB in India has started cracking down on drug addicts and drug traffickers throughout the country can bring in some kind of fear within the youth who would avoid taking such substances.

They are indeed. As the mother of an addict I can honestly say they take everything and destroy it, not just for the addict but for their families too.

@aninditasen It's my granddaughter but I get paid for looking after her. I'm a pensioner now and could not support her on a pension. I have what is called a Special Guardianship Order

That is her and her dear ones luck that she is out of the addiction. Addicted people should realize that what they were doing is harming their health.

Leaders have never controlled anything like that rather some parties use it during election to get votes. It the law of the land and the social organization that have to work for the eradication of this evil in the society.
