One of the few Republican I respected. To me was a decent and honorable man. Many wanted him to run for President but he did not want to. He was fully vaccinated they said, so this Virus is not dying out. He was older though and am not sure how much that has to play into it but imagine it does.

Indeed I mean he was in military too so not a out of shape guy. Probably not what he used to be but probably in better shape than most people at that age.

@crossbones27 We donĀ“t know what other ailments a person who is 84 years old has. I have several minor problems that do not show at 76. Yet I notice them and suffer them

How did I not know this? Woh - did not expect this. Quite possible his age had some to do with it too, but still. No matter what, just have to stay cautious at this time.

@crossbones27 I hadn't heard anything either. Right, I've only heard about Clinton being hospitalized. I'm assuming they wanted to keep things private for Powell - you just know the media would be all over.

Indeed and apparently just happened he was at Walter Reed. I did not know he even got sick. They just broke the news all of a sudden. They had stories of Clinton, not do to Covid but maybe why he was overshadowed.

It's kind of scary to hear of this as we all know it may not stop us getting it but hope that it will be mild. I was lucky as I got it last month in the form of a cold. I felt rough for a few days but no complications and it was done in a week. Poor man.

Yeah, and smart you did. Why I find it silly, the argument against it. I do not want to go out fighting for a ventilator. Its not 100 percent gonna make people immune to the virus but gives you more of a fighting shot. Most people only had mild systems when they did catch but most of them are younger than he was that were fully or partially vaccinated and imagine it will also help when the vaccine wears off because body will be able to say I saw that before. Like a mechanic. I never saw that, I did and this is how we figured out how to fix it. Cool, thanks brothers and sisters.

@sprite1950 Indeed, top of the list for every thing. Hit forty they start inspecting your butt. They wonder why people hate doctors even if it is for our own benefit.

@crossbones27 I'm almost 71 but have good health normally. I can get my booster shot next week as enough time has elapsed since I had the virus. That's one thing about getting old, you're top of the list for jabs!

Yeah they do not make them like that anymore at least I have not seen in that political climate. Music and other places people like him still there but a rare bird indeed.

Yeah he was 84 and that is from what I gather of why they say the flu is so dangerous for older people because can turn in pneumonia because bodies immune system can't fight it off the way it once could.

No, its what it said it was no one ever said it was fool proof. Do more research before you make a comment and covid is down 24 percent due to vaccines when its starting to get cold. Remember last time it started to get cold, it jumped like crazy.

Amen, I like this description of him. He only did what worked, everything else he could careless about.
