In Satkosia in Orissa the roads criss cross the tiger reserve forests

The Satkosia reserve forest in Orissa is full of tigers. Generally majority of them are man-eaters. They are really dangerous. Over the last 6 months there were few local people who were killed by them along with cattle. When our car crossed the forest the driver drove fast as he never wanted to take any chance. The glass window panes of Innova car can easily be broken by one attack of tiger.

Is there a village near to this forest?. Maybe a barrier should have been built to separate the village and the forest

yes Nausheen last month when a man eater tiger named Sundari entered the village and killed five persons the local people approached the forest officers. But the forest officials are not experts to catch the tigress.

thanks Ruby yes I saw deers monkeys emu birds and heard the sound of hyenas. In the reserve forest all the ferocious animals were there. Our drive purposely drove the innova car fast.

That does sound dangerous but the excitement of seeing wildlife so closely is worth the experience
