Neera or Palm Nectar Drink in Udvada!!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. As winters will start in India in November. The winter drink named "Neera" or Palm Nectar is very popular at a place called Udvada in Gujarat, India. As most of you know that I am a parsi. We have our firetemple in Udvada. We visit this village mostly in November-December. Neera or Palm Nectar drink is taken out from palm trees early in the morning and have to be had in morning itself. It's a sweet sugary drink full of natural sugar. By afternoon, the fermentation process starts in it and it becomes "Toddy" and can be said a type of local alcohol. I love having neera in winter season. It's a very refreshing and cooling sweet drink. It hydrated our body. It's good for kidney function and good for skin too.
