In Dhauligiri the peace pagoda showed how King Ashoka embraced peace.

King Ashoka was the greatest ruler of India more than 2000 years ago. He fought a battle and then saw the blood of the enemies make river Daya red in colour. He embraced Buddhism and stopped warfare for ever. On the memories of his message of peace the peace pagoda is made in Dhauligiri the place in Orissa from where King Ashoka ruled India. It was fun visiting the place.
