South Carolina football hero saves his dad's life by using CPR

Patrick Gallagher who is a high school student and football player in Horry County in South Carolina is being praised as a savior after he used CPR to keep his father Pat who had suffered a heart attack recently inside of their home while they were playing video games. I am not sure if Patrick has taken first aid courses in high school or not. However it appears that he has taken first aid courses since when his dad collapsed, he called 911 and used CPR on his father until the first responders arrived to take his dad to a local hospital. Pat spent nearly one week in the intensive care unit where he also was battling COVID-19 where he has a made a full recovery. The Gallagher family are getting support from their community via the GoFundMe.com site. Patrick is being praised by the doctors and medical staff for using his medical skills to keep his dad alive until medical help arrived since seconds count in saving lives. Teenagers today are smart in using their skills to assist persons in need since the technology being used to assist them learn medical skills is amazing.
