Travel Love must have enjoyed my country and my people.

Another sweet surprise from my newly discovered playlist duo called Travel Love is that the brothers featured my country twice. Ain't that something! I think the guitar-toting brothers had to indulge my people another song because they did feel the warmth of my people. Interesting to note this is the only video in the Travel Love that showed people. Check out the smiles!
Thanks for watching our cover of "Lean On Me" by Bill Withers!Get "Lean On Me":Smart URL: http://smarturl.it/0dnhfpSpotify: https://spoti.fi/2y7RMRyiTunes: h...

I have been to the Philippines, but not sure it really counts. We flew into Clark Air Force Base, but they were on exercise, so we weren't allowed off the plane. So much for my two hours there!

That counts. You touched down on Philippine soil! Clark Air Base is now Clark Global City with its own international airport. Its a state of the art city though I am one against the transformation of the air base to a city because indigenous lands were taken from the Aetas. The Aetas are the first settlers in the Philippines. Hope you can come and enjoy the beaches and the food!

@Ronrybs Our mountains are also good for trekking. We have one called Mt Banahaw where clouds forever hover on top, covering the tip of the mountain. Myth has it the mountain is holy because that is where our Lord Jesus spent His eighteen hidden years. But I still love the beach. Subic Bay, once the home of the US Seventh Fleet, has white sands ang still pristine blue waters. I do recommend Philippine cuisine. The White House has a Filipino for a chef under Barack Obama. I think that is also a reason why the former president came to the Philippines - to get a taste of our fiesta food. Ha ha. By the way, even Mel Gibson of the Mad Max fame vouches for our 'adobo.'

@eileenleyva Sadly, I am not one for beaches. Never tried Philippine food, have to keep my eyes open for a restaurant, next time I am in the city

Yup! That is really wonderful. I was so happy they sang 'Lean on Me' for 'Iligan City.' Am sure they noticed how the people help each other. That Bill Withers song is beloved by my people. As you see, the people smothered the brothers in the end. That's how we express our gratitude. A street performance is already like a concert for us. Thanks, Travel Love, for gracing my people with your music.

Aha! Even if, I think, the performance was made on a hot, busy morning!
