Today is Valmiki Jayanti in India!!!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. Today it's "Valmiki Jayanti". Valmiki was a decoit in prior days, then gradually he became a great sage and famous poet of India. His real name was Agni Sharma and was brought up in a Brahman family. He did penance and chanted the name of Lord Rama. He lived during the time of Lord Rama in 5th century BCE. As he continued his penance, a huge ant hill formed around him and he became known as Valmiki which known as "Ant Hill". He is the author of the epic Hindu Scripture book Ramayana. The book contains 24,000 shlokas and 7 cantos. He was a very eminent and great poet of India. This day is mainly celebrated on full moon day. Just thought to share it with you guys. Have a good day.
