I am an ARMY (BTS fan). Are there any ARMYs out here?

You may have noticed how I often post discussions about BTS. This is because I'm amazed of how they were able to convert me a non-Kpop fan into an ARMY. I was never into boy bands before and I was laughing at my granddaughter when she was talking about them non-stop. I teased her and said she should get pass her fan-girling. But she tried to show me the reasons why they were not an ordinary boy band. They are UN special envoys of their country, they supported UNICEF and had spoken at the UN three times about empowering the youth to cooperate with global issues. They constantly contribute to charitable institutions, especially during each of their birthdays. And they sing about loving one's self, accepting who you are and being happy about what you are. I had thought. only teens and young people were fans (as many media outlets thought, especially in the West) but to my surprise there were many #DopeOldPeople like me who were in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s. There was even a 91 year old fan. I'm not surprised now, because when I watched the BTS videos, learned the translations of their songs and watch them on stage, and I'm totally taken in with who they are, what they represent, and their incredible messages. So, I'm now a loyal ARMY. I wish everyone could discover BTS, as they could be one's lifesavers during this trying pandemic times.
