Virtual Reality: A more in depth review

So now that I've had some more time to spend with the Oculus Quest 2 I can write a more detailed review.
Observations:
Alright. You gotta have the goggles on in just the right spot on your face, and fairly snugly - otherwise it gets blurry. It's not the biggest deal to re-adjust but it's worth noting.
It's a money grab. Sure, there are a few brief experiences for free , and there are a few demos so you can see if you would like the full version of the game, but almost everything costs.
Not everything comes with a free trial - so you kind of got to have a pretty good idea if you would like it or not. Now , the nice thing is that there is a return policy - if you have owned it less than a month and played it less than 2 hours worth... you can go through a sort of difficult to find return process and get your money back. So that's a good thing, but I feel like this would be solved by offering demos on more stuff.
Call me boring. Games don't SUPER interest me. I would love something where you could just walk around and explore. There are "Virtual Environments" - these are sort of like background images or wallpapers. They are your "home screen" so to say. There's maybe a dozen of them - Ski cabin, northern lights dome, cyber house, etc.... they are highly detailed, animated. I would love if I could actually walk around in there and pick things up, do things.... etc...
Battery life is about 2 hours. But then you maybe don't want to play longer than 2 hours, anyway given the eye ache ....
There are a handful of apps I like and over all I'm happy I did it, though I'm also happy I didn't spend too much more on it. I think this will help to somewhat help me retain whatever shreds of sanity I still have since I'm going back to isolating moreso.

I hope you are overall happy with your purchase..you wont be returning it will you Faye?
Some of those things may annoy me, but it sounds like fun.
Thanks for the in depth review.

@RebeccasFarm I was happy they allowed it just on the basis of not liking it. I hadn't played it much, I guess they can see that on their end
Yeah, pity we aren't closer distance wise..... *hug*
Ha ha no, she says she has no interest.... I didn't either until a friend let me try hers. She's been a little upset stomach with chemo, but when she's feeling better I will get her to try, I wait because even if your tummy is fine it can get a little stomach turning, just from the motion

@FayeHazel Ugh, the roller coaster ride. His dad watched it and vomited immediately afterwards. I just screamed and closed my eyes. It was so scary! The next was Jurassic something or other. The dinosaurs were standing along side me, but when they started fighting and killing, I had to close my eyes. Sooooooooooooo real……….
