Early Morning Coffee Was Nice

Woke up to 45 degrees this morning. Nice. Love wearing flannels in the fall. Coffee seems to taste better when the temperatures fall. Cats joined me in the screen room. They slept as usual. Laundry is almost done. Football on later. A good day so far. Photo is one of my Eeyore mugs.

Too cold for me. I love no-jacket weather when I can go outside without an encumbering jacket. Give me 60-75 with sun; and I'm happy.

I love a nice pair of warm pajamas and a nice good warm drink in the colder months . In the morning I always drink my coffee and the evening I will have a hot chocolate.

Brrrr! I’m in a hoodie I bought in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I figured a “lightweight hoodie” from up there is good ‘n’ warm….and I was right!!!

@CarolDM — no, I’m not in Sioux Falls now. I bought the hoodie there, as a souvenir, at the Falls Park where all those cool waterfalls were. It was a little nippy that morning, and I hadn’t bothered to pack one (because the forecast had said unseasonably warm/hot [which proved to be the case by the time I got to Badlands]). I turned into the person I once said I’d never be: someone wearing shorts and a hoodie!
