A Nice Rain

It is 2:38 a.m. now where I am. It has been raining for about a half an hour or so and it's been nice and steady with some lightning and thunder. It's been pretty pleasant to listen to.

We have so much rain in the UK although this summer was drier than usual. The past few days have been wet and cold and of course the heating broke down!

Just throw on a jumper until the heating problem is resolved.

@bluerubymoon53 That's what I am doing! I also have some little halogen heaters which are very cheap to run but I miss my nice warm airing cupboard.

I have been listening to those thunderstorm and rain drops almost every night here in last two months. This year we got lot more rain than any year. The city has been on few alerts also since August due to excessive rain. It's very soothing at times especially in the stillness of the night to listen to the raindrops m
